Fire

Gratitude seems to be a common thought in my mind lately. For those of you who don’t know my father passed away a few months ago. Through this trying time I am so often reminded to be grateful and I am.

There are many tragedies of late. The Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777 shot down over the Ukraine with nearly 300 innocent lives lost, the unfortunate fighting between the Palestinians and theĀ Israelis over the Gaza strip with the lives of so many innocent civilians lost… there is so much loss and violence occurring in the world I am often at a loss as to what to do. Many have lost their homes and are devastated by the fires in Washington. For me, I know nothing to do most of the time other than pray, but I have a friend in Washington who has lost all in the fires.

This is somewhere I can personally make a difference. I am sharing this with the hopes that if you can help you will, and if you can not, then you will pass it on and offer instead your thoughts and prayers to everyone suffering this in this world. Many blessings…
